We’re here to help people come to know the love of Christ and invite them to respond with a lived Catholic faith.
In past years, the temptation has been to hide, ignore, or apologize about being Catholic. Today, a growing number are becoming curious about the Catholic faith. They want to know if we truly believe what we say we believe. Yes, we do. We embrace the Catholic way of living with all of its joys and challenges, because it brings us into a living relationship with Christ. We love it. It makes us who we are.
We’re not about running programs. We’re about communicating the faith. People do not believe unless they hear the Gospel and are invited to respond in faith. Programs, studies, videos, do not accomplish this. Witness, attitudes, conversations, actions – these proclaim the faith and inspire others to live it. Therefore, as a parish, we are going to get very good at communicating the faith by what we say and do.
We invite everyone into a relationship with Christ through the Catholic Church. We love everyone enough to challenge them to leave behind one way of living in order to have life in Christ. We will help you, walk with you, pray with you, and love you. This does not need to come at the expense of everything we believe. When the Catholic faith is presented in all its fullness, people respond. They hunger for it, they embrace it, they want to live it.
