Confirmation

Adult Confirmation

Adults who are baptized Catholic but never received the Sacrament of Confirmation are invited to prepare for Confirmation by participating in our Becoming Catholic program, which is available year-round.

Teen Confirmation

Confirmation preparation for teens at St. Isidore.

Walking Toward the Sacrament

Confirmation is readiness to receive the Holy Spirit and to be sent into the world as an apostle. Your teen walks that journey alongside other teens in community and witnesses from our parish.

New this year: we're piloting having 8th graders join our Year 1 group. 8th graders who are interested are welcome to join.

Register for Confirmation

Registration is open through the year. Already have a St. Isidore account? Sign in first so your registration links to your family record. New to the parish? Go straight to the form.

How the Year Works

This year, both years will walk together as one community.

Large-Group Catechesis

Catechesis is led in large groups by Father Matthew and select adult catechists.

Disciple Circles

Groups meet in Disciple Circles for small group discussions.

16 Sunday Sessions

Confirmation Sessions are held on 16 Sundays immediately following the 5:00 PM Mass until 7:45 PM.

Mass, Confession & Adoration

While there are only 16 Confirmation sessions plus a retreat, full participation in the Mass is expected weekly, in addition to Confession and Adoration.

Dates to Mark

All gatherings run 6:00 to 7:45 PM in the Church, both years of the program together. Weekly Sunday Mass is the first expectation of the program. The 5:00 PM Sunday Mass before the gathering is convenient but not required — any Sunday Mass or Saturday Vigil Mass fulfills the obligation, at any parish.

Session Recordings

Every gathering is recorded. If your teen missed one, please have them watch it before the next gathering — each session sets the foundation for the one that follows.

Recordings will appear here as sessions are posted.

Lead a Disciple Circle

Essential to formation is the Disciple Circle — small groups of teens led by adults from our community willing to walk alongside our teens as discussion leaders. We would love more parents to step in, and confirmed teens are welcome too. You do not necessarily need to lead your teen's circle, and it's a great way to deepen your own faith and witness.

You do not have to be a theologian. You just have to be a faithful, practicing Catholic who is willing to show up twice a month and walk with a handful of teens on their journey to Confirmation.

Called, Formed, Sent

Confirmation is a beginning, not an ending.

The Apostolate is for confirmed teens who want to keep going: serving as teen leaders alongside this year's candidates, continuing their own formation, and finding real ways to live their faith in the parish.

If you have a confirmed teen who is interested, have them email justin@sichurch.com.

Contact Confirmation

Please feel free to reach out directly with any questions. I'm excited to walk this journey with your teen and your family!
